Nikon Coolpix S5100 camera review

Nikon Coolpix S5100 digital camera review - Nikon Coolpix S5100 price, features and specifications

There are some key features when choosing a digital camera. First and probably most important thing is to decide what kind of camera you need (pocket camera, DSLR or any other type).
When you have that all figured out the probably the next most important thing is megapixels. People often search cameras in a specific megapixel range. They hear somewhere something about megapixels or read it in the magazine that higher is better so that is another key feature that is going to make their mind when choosing digital camera.
Another important thing is zoom. Bigger zoom capabilities often make some mediocre models real best sellers.
The form factor is another key feature in cameras, especially for the pocket ones. The first impression of a pocket camera is very important.
And finally there is the price. It should meet your expectations or you will just switch to the next model that is more affordable.

All these factors are very important when when choosing a digital camera. And if you are currently looking for a pocket camera with lots of megapixels, high zoom and and very affordable price we have the right one for you.
Nikon Coolpix S5100 is a stylish looking 12.2 compact digital camera with 5x optical zoom and a nice 2.7-inch display for viewing your masterpieces.

The Coolpix S5100 shoots 720p HD video clips as well (with mono sound).

But none of these is the greatest thing about this camera. The biggest surprise in the Nikon Coolpix S5100 is its price. It is currently on sale at eBay for less than a $100. Yes, it is quite an amazing price for such a good package but competition in digital camera market is very strong so prices like this one should not come as a surprise in near future.
Nikon has also improved the 'nightvision' in the S5100 so now it offers blur-free nighttime shots with less noise.
No worries for the day shots as well. VR image stabilization is taking care for nice and clear images. ISO 3200 capability helps for those detailed pictures to look just beautiful.
