When Flytouch first presented their Superpad tablet it was like the new kid on the block, something with name and design familiar to the iPad but with much lower price and questionable performance. Now the Superpad tablet is well known in tablet world and that's why we are going to take a closer look at the Superpad 2 with Android 2.3 operating system and fast 1GHz processor.
As previously mentioned Superpad tablets have design very similar to the one of the Apple's iPad but the Superpad 2 is much thicker and a bit heavier.
The Superpad 2 has a large 10.2-inch 1024X600 touchscreen display which does not offer the greatest picture quality you may expect but it is OK for a tablet in this price range.
Thanks to the 1 GHz processor 512MB DDR RAM the Superpad 2 runs smoothly with most applications. It cannot be compared to the iPad 2 or the Galaxy Tab but it will get the job done with ease.
The Superpad 2 offers various connection options - 2 USB ports, mini HDMI and a MicroSD are all available with this tablet.

Connecting to the Internet is easy with the built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g and Ethernet port. Superpad 2 does not have a built-in GPS receiver but additional GPS antenna is available for those who need this tablet for navigation.
Audio options of the Superpad 2 include headphone jack and a mic. The built in speakers provide crisp sound but they are far from exceptional.
An additional feature of the Superpad 2 is the built-in front facing camera which comes as a surprise for a tablet in this price segment.

The Android 2.3 operating system works great on the Superpad 2 and is probably the most suitable for this tablet.
As I said earlier the price of the Superpad 2 is low and the tablet is very affordable. You can find this tablet on the US market for around $160 which is quite good.
As a conclusion we should say that the Superpad 2 is not a cutting edge device but it is priced well and time will show if it is going to survive against the growing cheap tablets invasion.

Today we are going to take a look at Peugeot's brand new sedan 508. It replaces two of the brand outgoing models (the 407 and the 607) combining it into one new model that is bigger and more upmarket than the 407 but not as luxurious as the 607 limousine.

 

The new 508 has a nice elegant exterior with dynamic profile which suits perfect to the car. The front is typical Peugeot with massive grill and aggressive headlights. The rear of the 508 is muscular and gives the car more settled look.

The interior of the 508 is very roomy and will fit five adults in comfort. The built quality and the materials of the instruments feel solid. All switches are easy to use and the board computer/navigation unit is easy to operate thanks to the many preset buttons on the dash.

Peugeot 508 is very well equipped and even the entry levels include all electric assists, climate control some others that usually cost extra in this price segment.
The 508 comes with the choice of four petrol and four diesel engines starting from 112hp with the smallest diesel up to 204hp for the 2.2HDI. PSA will offer Peugeot with a hybrid engine as well - the newly developed HYbrid4 diesel-electric hybrid system.
Gearbox choices include 5 and 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Fuel consumption of most Peugeot 508 models is very good and covers the Euro5 standards.
The 508 will be offered in an estate version (508 SW) and a crossover RXH model.

In conclusion we should say that the new Peugeot 508 is very well made car, offering good comfort and interior space as well as very good list of engine choices. The price of the new 508 is very competitive too and does not push the limits of the customers in this price segment.

The 8 MP camera situated on the rear side of the phone produces good quality images but not as good as a regular point and shoot digital pocket camera. It also offers a 720p HD video recording. There is another 1.3 MP front–facing camera for conference calls and stuff like that.
Basically the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is performing good in almost any aspect - the size and the form-factor are on the smaller side, processor speed is good, the 8MP camera is good enough for a smartphone. The only thing that may push you away form this capable device is its price.
Currently it is offered on the US market for around $430. That may be a bit too high for some customers but if we have to be honest this is the real price for a device with functions and built quality that the HTC Droid Incredible 2 has. The good news is that HTC Droid Incredible 2 is offered with contract form Verizon wireless for only $200.

Archos Arnova 7b G2 uses the Android 2.3 operating system so you can enjoy most of the apps form the Android market.
The connectivity of the Arnova 7b G2 is provided by WiFi (802.11 b/g) adapter. This is a slight disappointment as most of the latest tablets support WiFi N wireless networking but 802.11 b/g will be fine for most users.
The Arnova 7b G2 is 3G ready and with the help of an additional external 3G stick you can easily have 3G connectivity.
There is a VGA camera no the front side of the tablets which together with the WiFi support makes conference calls easy.

The tablet has a G-sensor as well.
The  Arnova 7b G2 is great for video entertainment as it supports HD (1080p) video playback.
The dimensions of the Arnova 7b G2 are not as compact as possible when talking for a 7-inch tablet. It is quite thick but it is very nice to hold and has much better feel than most of the thinnest tablets.
As for the price Archos Arnova 7b G2 is a class leader. It is very affordable offered at around a £100 in UK and about $120 in the US.
As a conclusion we should say the Archos Arnova 7b G2 is a very good budget 7-inch tablet. There's nothing exceptional in it but it offers good performance and the price is fair too.
